(1-2 g) in 1.5 cup of boiling water for 3-10 minutes. Strain and enjoy. Take no more than 1-3 times per day, or as instructed by a qualified Doctor or Ayurvedic Practitioner. May increase heat and pitta in excess. SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Milk, sugar, or honey may be added to enhance the flavor and effects of this tea. For traditional, Indian-style chai, simmer 2 tsp. of Tulsi Chai with 1-3 tsp. raw sugar in 1 c. water for 10 minutes. Then add 1/2 c. of organic whole milk and return to a boil before straining.
